Position View: Self ID

The Project Submit Interest - Self Identification Form is an  Add On Service for Pro Tier Firms. The Self ID selections must be requested and turned on by the Firms’ Account Manager.

In this support article we will walk you through setting up the Submit Interest - Self ID feature in order to allow potential candidates to enter their own data and streamline candidate communication.

Inside of the Project, click on the Link Icon to open the Job Posting Panel.

Toggle the Submit Interest Form ON.

New projects, when the Submit Interest Form is toggled ON. The Submit Self Identification Form will toggle ON with it.
Existing projects, will need to be toggled ON separately.

Select your desired settings and requirements for the Submit Interest - Self ID. Then click Save and Update so your changes take place and create the link needed for the Submit Interest and Self ID Form.

Users can view the  Submit Interest Form by clicking “Copy” for the Interest Form and paste the link in the URL. 
The  Embed Code link allows the capability for potential candidates to submit their interest to potential roles directly on the firms website.

Submit Interest Form View includes:
Client Company Logo, Project Title, Name, Email, LinkedIn URL, Phone, Message (Paragraph Text Field), and drag and drop box for Resumes/Cover Letter (PDF and Docx).

*Note: Required fields are determined by the Submit Interest Settings. 

At the bottom the Submit Interest Form, there will be a Next button at the bottom of the page. This will navigate the candidate to the Self ID Form.

Opt-In/Opt-Out

Opt-In/Opt-Out is an additional feature for your Custom Field. Learn how to create the Opt-In/Opt-Out Custom Field here.

*Note: Privacy Policy is associated to the Candidate Portal feature. If you do not have the Candidate Portal then the Privacy Policy link will not be present.

Single and multi-select Custom Fields will be sorted by alphabetical order. All options in those Custom Fields will be displayed in full.

Text field Custom Fields display after the single and multi-select Custom Fields. Once all selections and text are entered, the candidate will click "Submit" and will be added tot he project.

System Logic:

  • IF no match found, new person record and candidate record are created.
  • IF existing person record is already on project interest form, data is added as note to existing candidate record.
  • IF existing person record is NOT already on project, person record is added as a candidate, and interest form data is added as note to newly created candidate record.
  • IF submission includes resume, resume is parsed and added to existing or new person record. 

Upon successful submission of interest form,  Firm Project team is notified by email, push, and in app notifications. Links in all navigate to the candidate panel in Grid View. The candidates status will display Interest Form and is part of the research category.

Any selection that the candidates selects in the Self ID Form will overwrite any previous submitted information. Users do have the ability to change or add to those Custom Field choices.
Please Note: Users cannot change the Opt-In/Opt-Out selection made by the candidate.
