365 Integration: Firm Settings

This article will detail the importance of enabling and confirming permissions with 365.
Firm based permissions control object authorization at the firm level.

The Microsoft 365 integration will save your firm time, streamline your communication, and enhance your use of Clockwork as your primary platform for executive search. With the integration your team will be able to send emails, upload documents to and from your OneDrive, edit OneDrive articles in Clockwork, and create Calendar Events.

If your firm has Azure, and will be setting up permissions for your entire firm, please make sure you are a Global Administrator on Microsoft. To learn more about what a Global Administrator is, see this Microsoft Article https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/roles/permissions-reference

Please Note: This feature is not mobile accessible.

Before Users can accept or grant permissions, the Integration must be active in Firm Settings and Firm Admin or Partners will want to consider using the Ignore Specific Domain Emails function.

Toggling ON the Enable 365 Integration, as seen below, will enable the integration for the firm.
*Please Note: After the 365 Integration is enabled, Users must logout and log back in with the "Sign in with Microsoft" Option.

Once this is enabled, Users logging in with Microsoft 365 will be prompted to provide user based permissions as detailed here

Selecting the Ignore Specific Domain Emails will enable a text field where the Firm’s email domain can be entered. This setting disregards any email that is between only users who also have that domain in their registered email on Clockwork.

365 + Azure

In 365 + Azure, Firm Admin or Partners must grant permissions for all Users in Clockwork. The Admin or Partner User must also be an Admin in your firm’s Microsoft 365 Account.

Toggling ON the Enable 365 Integration, as seen below, will enable the integration for the firm.
*Please Note: After the 365 Integration is enabled, Users must logout and log back in with the "Sign in with Microsoft" Option.

Once this is enabled, Firm Admin or Partners can Grant Firm Permissions, as detailed here. The Grant Firm Permissions will be displayed as Saved with a date stamp and the person that granted the permissions once this is selected.

Selecting the Ignore Specific Domain Emails will enable a text field where the Firm’s email domain can be entered. This setting disregards any email that is between only users who also have that domain in their registered email on Clockwork.

*Please Note: Granting the permission in Firm Settings  for Azure will occur once. In order to remove or change the permissions, it has to be done in the 365 Admin
