Search Execution & Research: Search Kickoff Brief
Prompt: Search Kickoff Brief
Description: Assembles everything needed to launch a new search: similar past searches, reusable target companies, candidates from related pipelines, and a starter target list.
Frequency: Ad hoc (at every new project launch)
Connectors: Clockwork Recruiting, Shared Drive
Prompt: (copy/paste the prompt below into your chat in your LLM)
- When I name a new project, build a Search Kickoff Brief from Clockwork Recruiting. Fetch the project with ? include=client_company,project_type and display as <Company> \ <Project> throughout.
- Pull the project record and any client-provided documents (check Google Drive for the client folder). Pull target comp via get_project_compensation to frame the market.
- Find the 3 most similar past searches (same function, similar seniority/industry). For each, display as <Company> \ <Project> with final placements (use get_project with include=placement, or status.category == "in-placed" on the candidacies), runner-up candidates, and target companies used.
- From those past searches, surface 15 candidates worth re-engaging — with a 1-line "why now" per person from their candidacy history (list_candidacies(person_id=...) gives each person's full history in one call). Before including anyone, run run_conflict_check(person_id=...). Exclude STOP results and note them separately; surface CAUTION for review. Exclude anyone currently in an active candidacy on another project.
- Draft a starter target company list (20 companies) from companies tagged or referenced across the similar searches. Check doNotContact on each company (get_company). If DNC with a future doNotContactEndDate, include with the restriction noted; if no end date, exclude.
- List the top 5 internal team members with the most relevant relationships in this space, ranked by notes authored on related searches.
Output as a markdown brief, ready to drop into the kickoff meeting.
