Pro Tips: Chrome Extension

On 5 May 2026, Beth, DaMarr, and Jay joined “Pro Tips” to discuss and explore the new look for the Chrome Extension. The extension adopted a side panel architecture to improve interface stability and non-scraping data acquisition. This design enables direct contact updates and dynamic enrichment card functionality. We also covered:

• Dynamic Card Designs and Status Messaging: The interface utilizes dynamic card designs that open based on available information, such as defaulting open if a person was just added or enriched. Users will receive messages, such as a notification if a contact has not been enriched recently.
• Upcoming Notes Functionality and Resume Parsing: Allows users to add project notes. The function for resume processing has been renamed from "upload" to "parse" for clarity, indicating that the file is being processed.
• Visual Indicators for Contact Information: Visual cues, such as blue coloration on buttons, indicate that certain contact information (like email or LinkedIn) is known.
• Deep Scan Functionality for Data Enrichment: The deep scan feature is designed to address issues of incomplete information by attempting enrichment through multiple data sources.
